On July 2, 2020, the online conference, organized by akimat of Akmola region on "Ata Zan-tauelsizdigimizdin tugyry", dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The conference was attended by heads of state bodies, higher educational institutions, regional activists and legal scholars.
The event was moderated by Akim of the Akmola region E. Marzhikpayev.
In his welcoming speech, Chairman of the Constitutional Council K. Mami noted that the Constitution is the foundation of the state, its independence, and all our successes. It defines the image of society and the state, protects their interests and values. Knowing and following the Constitution and respecting it is an urgent task for any democratic state. The activity of the Constitutional Council is aimed at ensuring the implementation of this esteemed document.
During the forum, members of the Constitutional Council A. Temerbekov made a report on "The improving the effectiveness of constitutional control in Kazakhstan".
The program also included speeches by heads of law enforcement bodies and legal scholars in the region.
The forum participants were unified in the opinion that the Constitution as the basic law of the state is inviolable and must find adequate implementation in legislative and other decisions and actions of state bodies and citizens.
