On May 15, 2020, the Constitutional Council jointly with the Kazakh humanitarian and legal innovation University held an international scientific - practical conference on "Kazakhstan's constitutionalism: lessons of history and modernity", dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The conference was attended by a member of the Constitutional Council Unzila Shapak, leading scientists from near and far abroad: Russia, Uzbekistan, Italy, Bulgaria, leading scientists of the Institute of legislation and legal information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as scientists and teachers of the country's leading universities –ENU named after L.N. Gumilyov, al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Kazakh agrotechnical University named after S.Seifullin, SSU named after Shakarim and others.
In the course conference, Unzila Shapak made a report on "Problems of protecting the family and childhood as constitutional values".
Scientists and experts shared their research experience in the development of constitutionalism. The participants of the conference were very interested in issues of further strengthening of constitutional legality not only in Kazakhstan but also in states with the developed legal systems.
